Dash has lost virtually all bowel control. I watched him last night, only an hour after walking him, laying on his dog bed in the living room. He didn't even realize what was happening. I watched him today while walking, struggling to catch up. He is not in pain, yet I feel he is suffering, and I promised him that I wouldn't let him suffer. I have made an appointment next Tuesday at the vet. It will be his half-birthday: he will be 13 1/2. I will especially treasure the next week with him, as I have the previous 692.
