Having lost our 13 1/2 year old dog in the spring, I couldn't have just left him. A great site for those that appreciate senior dogs is www.srdogs.com as I found it very useful in getting info when we still had Duchess. I really enjoyed our dog from about age 7 as she was calm and just a lot of fun to just hang out with. Cathy
