Hi Richard,
I haven't been on the site for awhile as we are now fulltime RV'ers and we keep pretty busy. I was using my cell phone the other day and as I scrolled down the list of numbers I came across yours that I put in there a year and a half ago! I see your number every day that I use my cell but it just seemed to jump out me as a reminder that I hadn't been on the thread and it was time to catch up.
I randomly put in page numbers to see if I could pick up where I last left off and soon found that place. It wasn't long before the Old Fella story was being retold and I was enjoying it all over again.
I got to the part where you went to Hunting Island and thought to myself, "OH, this is where we met Rich and Sue and of course Old Fella and Levi. I had wondered if in your retelling of the story if you remembered us and sure enough in the next posting was the part about me asking in the office about Old Fella and getting blank stares from the office personnel. I remember you asking me, like it was yesterday, if I had just asked about Old Fella. When I looked at you and Sue I had recognized you instantly. Bob and I so enjoyed our visit with you and I have introduced the Old Fella thread to many along the way.
I am so happy to read all that has gone since that day you first found this loving dog. I followed with great interest through all the rescues you've been involved with, the antics of Suzy, Dixie, Anna and all the rest.
Richard, you and Sue are truly very special people and I feel honored to have met you in person.
I will you keep in my prayers while you work through these vision problems.
