Good morning everyone. Christmas is getting closer! I hope everyone has a great and blessed Christmas and Santa brings you all that is on your wish list.
Its cold here in the Deep South this morning and yesterday we had a rare event south of us as my son reported he was traveling through sleet. I don't think any of it stuck to the ground as it was too warm for that. It is suppose to rain here today with a high in the 40's, a bit raw for me. I have pine straw in the front yard that needs getting up and I need to change the oil in the generator.
It looks as if we won't be able to get Diamond to Gary until after Christmas, but this looks promising as Pilots and Paws has gotten involved. Jane Heatherington who has very close connections to the group has gotten involved and she is planning to fly Diamond from Waynesboro to Atlanta and then to Texas and on to Colorado. I hope Gary doesn't get worn out by all of this, but sometimes you have to work hard at something if you believe in it.
In the rescue business you have set backs, but that does't keep you from achieving the goal if you just keep focused on the treasure at the end of the rainbow. Okay I have to go for now, talk with you later.
