After a good day of hiking or whatever, nothing beats a nice campfire.
We really enjoy sitting before a nice fire and just looking into the flames.
There’s just something about looking into those deep orange embers and multiple colors of flame dancing about to help one connect with the peacefulness of being in a remote location and losing your thoughts. Even Charlie our camping cat seems to get it laying in his chair.
The flames are good for bug control when the little blood suckers are out to get you. I hate them and the flames attract them to certain demise which grants me great satisfaction.
How else can one make smores or the occasional hotdog and get that nice smoky taste but with a campfire.
My great ancestors Camper_Ogg_&_Ayla put it best, “Fire Good”!
