Old Fella is going on his first camping trip with us October 21st. We are going to Cherokee KOA in Cherokee, NC. This is our annual trip we make with the kids and grandkids. I feel confident he will be fine as he has adapted so quickly. He is a gentleman on the leash, he likes the camper and he travels well. This has been such a nice heart wrenching saga and such a herculean gesture on you part, I would darn near drive down to your campground on that weekend just to shake your hand and give you a pat on the back for being such a kind and caring person.
I would probably need to mortgage the farm in order to buy the diesel just to get there from Kansas, but it would be about worth it.
My hat goes off to you. You should be in line for some kind of an award for kindness.
