Thanks for the headsup on "The Grand Gathering" event. We may try to work out schedule around that. We're planning on stopping at Vicksburg, MS, Shreveport, LA, San Antonio & Fredricksburg, TX, Carlsbad Cavern, NM, and Tombstone & Tucson, before getting to Quartzsite.
So depending on 1) how soon I can get my Federal taxes done, and 2) weather here in Virginia and points. we may be able to make it.

If you happen to be in Quartzsite next March 6th-9th, some of the RV parks are giving discounts for new "The Grand Gathering" event. The Quartzsite Improvement Assoc. is working on the largest gathering of Grandparents & Great Grands. It should be a fun week with lots of activities.
And Hwy. 95 between Quartzsite and Lake Havasu is a much more scenic route than the CA side.
