199 Crescent City to Grants Pass OR

Tomorrow will be leaving Brookings for Weed, CA.

Taking the 101 to CC and then 199 to Grants Pass and wondering about the height of the tunnel between CC and Grants Pass.

Any problems or is 199 OK?

    No. Narrow in a few places but a beautiful drive. Dont forget to visit oregon caves

    Will make the 'Caves' next year when we return in May.

    BTW, hwy 197 will give you a little short cut so you don't have to go quite so far towards Crescent City.

    That is the route I have always used even 40 years ago.
