As I previously wrote, we have done 3 trips in 5 years and the more I read from those of you who have had such a wonderful time makes me think even more that we will attempt a return trip in 2015 rather than waiting until 2016. My husband and I are of an age where we had better do those things while we still can. Waiting even one year can make such a difference in physical and mental ability. As far as money goes---we worked really hard to save this money and in retirement, we will enjoy it while we can. I advise all of you who are considering the trip and concerned about the cost to go if at all possible. There are many ways to save money, especially if you can do without "all the comforts" of home. Each of us is different in our ideas of what is fun or enjoyable, but if you don't make this trip, you will never know if it is worth all the rough roads, high fuel costs, possible damage to your RV, etc. For us, I can flat out say YES, IT IS WORTH IT and if all goes as planned, we will be back.
