I always advise RV'ers to take commuter traffic into account in So Cal, but this stretch always catches us. So right about how poor the signage is. And my wife would have a fit if I even suggested driving at 2am. Will add that about a decade ago we were in stop & go traffic there when a landscaping truck took acception with our presence. Just as the traffic jam broke, the driver smacked our passenger side mirror with a pipe, knocking the mirror completely out its housing, Needless to say, giving chase was put of the question. Fortunately, my wife managed to get it back in place enough for me to exit and do a quick repair.
