Look at google maps to see average travel times based on day/time. It really helps.
I live near where the 134 branches from the 210. In the mornings, there is a lot of traffic from the east, as people commute from the eastern 'burbs. By 10am it should be pretty good.
You have a couple of choices - take the 134 to the 101 and straight up. It is the shortest route, but also the most likely to have traffic. Or you can take the 210 -118- 23 - 101 route. This route also avoids the very big hill heading into/out of Camarillo. . Or, if there is likely to be traffic going through Oxnard/Camarillo, you can take the 210-5-126-101 route. There are a few other options, but I wont bore you :-) We live in Pasadena, and have a mobile home in Pasadena, so we take the trip at least once a month, and we keep an eye on google maps, and take the most efficient for the time we are traveling.
