we are wondering about taking route 227 from medford to canyonville, or. has anybody been on this road? thought maybe getting off the 5 would be beautiful

We have driven it a number of times. Not to bad a road but as stated above it has no shoulders in places so need to keep on the pavement. This however is the way with most of the roads we run in this part of the world. You made no real statement as to your rig size so if you have a MH and much over 26 feet or pulling a trailer I would pass on it.. And if you do not run back roads with no shoulders often then the long drops where the pavment ends can worry you..
