2nd best day to drive through Atlanta
We will be leaving the Georgia mountains heading back to Florida, via I-75 through Atlanta. We planned on traveling on Sunday, but there is rain predicted, so we are now thinking of either Thursday...

So other than the week-end, what is the 2nd best day to go through Atlanta?
We plan on going through downtown Atlanta between 10 or 11 am. Is that the best or should we go earlier? We don't want to be driving in the dark.
Would Friday be okay, or would Thursday be better?
Thursday is better than Fridays, Fridays a lot more traffic, due to people traveling, getting out of work early, not working, etc...it is definitely more congested on Fridays.
Between 10-11am is optimal, morning rush hour, starts 6:30'ish, last till 9'ish.
Not as bad, as many like to think, enjoy the adventure!
