3-4 week trip west... A little nervous!

I too am from Florida and heading to the Colorado Rockies in a few weeks. I've checked all the major roads and I'll be fine as long as I maintain a patient attitude and realize that it will take however long it takes and cost in fuel however much it costs. LOL I won't win any races or awards for fuel economy. Once there, the locals advice will be my primary guide as to whether I will pull my TT or or unhitch for day trips and then get back on the major roads for moving on to new areas.
