303 BYPASS AROUND PHOENIX

Can anyone tell me if the 303 bypass is complete around the west end of Phoenix to I-17 north?

Google Earth shows it incomplete near I-10 but the imagery is old (3-2013).

I know the 101 is a alternative, but the 303 sure misses a lot of the mess.

Also is there any gas stations along the 303 since it is so new?

Thanks Wireman
  • 303 by pass-
I just left Ariz. in April. The 303 is still under construction. While it is currently usable, I would not describe it as a real comfortable driving RV route when towing a 34 ft. 5th wheel. The lanes are pretty narrow and congested, so you have to keep a close eye on where your RV on the road. Is it doable, yes but it is not my first choice. I would recommend going down a few more miles to the 101 then hooking up with I-17.
  • It is not complete yet. But it's very useable. The last incomplete section which runs from I-10 northward for about 7-8 miles will complete in late 2015. Even so, it moves quite well. And yes, there are gas stations available. If you take the Greenway off ramp, and head west, there is a Fry's on the left SE side of Greenway and Cotton. There are also quite a few stations either direction off of Bell road.
