Yep, I been on that I-10 section hundreds of times over the last 30 yrs. Dangerous ??? boring yes. As far as 550 is its a good road stick to the speed limit and you will be fine. Pay attention stay off your cell phone and away from other distracting things like adjusting the volume on your radio.
