5 Dangerous Road Trips in the USA

I just shake my head at the sensationalism used to get a few clicks. I've never been on the SC one, but the rest aren't bad. The freeway between Butte and Three Forks? Give me a break.

You just took the excitement away for everyone who has not traveled on those roads. Bummer. :)

We have done all of them. We have done three, including the Dalton, with our class A and the other two with a truck/tt.

For us, the most dangerous roads so far were trying to get around Jacksonville, FL on the highways or through traffic around Wekiwa Springs or getting past Miami to the Keys. Typically, it is other drivers that make it dangerous.
