- NMDriver2ExplorerI have been on an outside job when the wind chill was -60 and I did not die, but I decided to never take another job like that.
BTW Here in southern NM we will not get below 35 for the next two weeks and then it gets to 32 for a couple of nights before heading back up. Most of my grass is still green, but the rabbits keep it cut short.
Of course come June the heat will force me to head for the coast until September. ;) - memtbExplorer

Great time to get outdoors. Ice fishing, snowmobiling, skiing, etc. Prime time here in the North country.

This is why I don't live where there are blizzards. I can't imagine getting up in the wee hours to face the freezing cold to dig out the car to go to a job I really would rather not do... :) - BarabooBobExplorer IIITomorrow night the forecast calls for -25 f with a wind chill of -65 f. - agesilausExplorer IIIWell the North Florida forecast is for two more nights in the low 30's, then a week more or less with lows in the 40's and 50's and highs in the 70's. We have not had a hard freeze yet this winter (26 deg) which damages plants. And, God willing, we won't have one. January is normally the end of winter for us, but this has not been a normal winter so far. We generally only have a hard freeze once every 3 or 4 years is my guess.
- midnightsadieExplorer IIaccording to the weather man 600 miles south of me,ohio to S.C it,ll be 60 wensday. now I know why my friend bought a cabin there.
- HadEnoughExplorerDon't hate me because I'm the 10%. I'm probably almost the 1% wearing a t shirt outside today.
#occupyflorida - Iraqvet05ExplorerI blame Canada. Nice neighbors but they are a bit cold at times. :)
