Great input! I like the idea of taking the road atlas and cutting and taping. We've got one already that I don't mind doing that to. We just have to pick a wall big enough now.
Carlsbad takes us 500 miles off the loop. This adds a full day of driving. Would like to see it, but may wait until the itenerary takes more shape and see how it might work in.
Love the suggestions of more scenic roads than I have chosen. Again, I have no knowledge, and you guys have driven them!
