Bucky, I do feel that pressure to get moving on these trips!
lbrjet, for now, the route is what google maps picked out. 24 to 89 down to Page. That's something I really want help with. Connected the parks from #9 to #13 is difficult to do efficiently, and I'm sure there are some gem roads that google doesn't point out. I think google included some backtracking on my route. I wouldn't know though...because all my saved google maps DISAPPEARED! I'm really fed up with online mapping and about to turn back to a paper map.
2gypsies, I was planning for only one night at Bonito. Those 3 parks were going to be just a passing through so we'll stop for an hour kind of thing. Thanks for the tip on the loop drive. Those are exactly the kinds of things that google doesn't do. :)
The more research I do on the individual parks, the more I feel like dropping some of the smaller parks and spending larger blocks of time at places like Zion.
