Glad you are going to Ouray. You'll love the 4-wheeling. Ridgeway State Park is a nice base.

Vermillion Cliffs can easily be a drive-by. It's very serious hiking there and the heat will be high. From Grand Canyon South Rim take Hwy 64 east and out again to Hwy 89 and head directly to Zion. You can get to Zion either by Hwy 89 or 89A depending if you want to drive by Lake Powell (Glen Canyon).

This trip planning is almost like a job, isn't it? You're getting there. Good job.
