It's only an hour from Ridgeway to the Black Canyon. Probably 45 miles. Not sure why you have 181. The Black Canyon would be an easy day trip from Ridgeway. It's an easy (and beautiful) drive from Arches to Canyonlands NP / Deadhorse SP. Another easy day trip. Would take way longer to break camp, drive and set up again. 297 miles from Capital Reef to Arches?
