Sorry but that is definitely not the case. My intent was simply to point out that what I consider to be an exciting road and adventurous may be absolute terror to someone else. I will admit that I think many Americans are spoiled by our good roads and don't really grasp how bad a road can be. The roads shown in the video are MAJOR highways across those countries. The video was only for perspective and a bit of entertainment. Nothing more sinister than that.
If I answer your perfectly innocent question about a road without telling you how I feel about roads and driving up front, then my answer may lead you to take a route you are definitely not comfortable with. On the other hand because I don't know how you feel about driving and if I temper my answer to "Oh I wouldn't take that road if I were you" Then I may keep you from taking a road you might find perfectly acceptable and enjoy. ONLY by knowing what the other persons mindset is about driving are we able to put their answers in context to our personal comfort level.
It really just means that one mans floor is another mans ceiling. And that a few questions and some consideration would help ensure more accurate answers for all concerned.
As for those that have accused me of claiming that some are not smart enough to decide based on the answers given...it's not a matter of smarts... It's a matter of nobody can read minds.
