I don't think "adventure" or "difficult" are actually used very much in this forum when describing routes. Sure, there are some posts, but if you do a search on these terms, you might find that the word "adventure" refers to a hike someone took or their first trip to Alaska. Likewise, "difficult" referred to the campground near Aspen, a hiking trail, or the ability to find a parking spot.
Bad road vs. good road as often as not refers to the condition of the pavement. For instance just because it's an interstate highway doesn't mean that is doesn't have big pot holes or groves from heavy truck traffic.
Probably a word that is often used but without specifics as to meaning is the word "best". Best might mean most scenic, shortest, quickest, or the one with the best campgrounds or the lowest passes to cross.
I would say in general, most people give an idea of what they are driving and what they are looking for.
As for the video, you can head to the San Juan's of SW Colorado and drive some of the great jeep trails down there. There is about the same amount of exposure but in many places they are narrower and more off camber. Just trying to save the OP a little money and time rather than travelling half way around the world!
