That sounds great! I love the idea of missing the high passes with the trailer but still being close enough for day trips in the truck. I'd love to see some mountain scenery. I'm also looking for mountain biking spots and maybe some whitewater. Both of the boys are over 80 lbs so I think we are good for III and IV.
