We are driving from Pittsburgh to Des Moines to rent a 28-32 ft. class C RV through RVShare.
* * * * * You do Know that you are still 700 MILES from anything when you start in Des Moines! So that is a full day of driving and $$ for milage on the RV. Full day Out and Back = 1400 miles +
Then our first stop is ***** - day 1 driving to - *****
Mt. Rushmore. ***** - day 2-3 seeing - *****
* * * * * IMHO there is a lot to see and do in CUSTER/Mt Rushmore area. Custer State Park - Needles - Crazy Horse - Emerald Cave NP - Wind Cave NP - Sylvan Lake................Catch Mt Rushmore for the evening ceremony.
