We just got back from Alaska the end of June gone 4 weeks from Iowa. Just fill up at every station on the Alaskan Highway, some are closed and the informational signs don't say Closed. Never go below a 1/2 tank and don't count on the next station being open or being cheaper. Just get out your credit card and smile. Its a vacation!!
