I see you live in DeLand, so the distance is the same for you. There are all sorts of complications that arise from crossing the border--pets for example have to have a current health certificate. It's better to get an authoritative book that will cover most items of interest
We've never considered US/Canada border crossings complicated. Just know the basics of the crossing requirements.
Yeah I just double checked it on googlemaps and it's 4600 or 4800 depending on which way you go. Seeing this pushed the possibility of going up there ourselves back up to the front burner. We thought about it 3 years ago but it was our first year with a 5ver. I wanted more experience before doing the Alcan. Plus our youngest son wants to do the campus tour for Montana Univ and maybe Montana Tech. We'll drive him up and he will fly back. And that will leave us right there at the doorway so to speak.
