All good info here. Just got back (started from Tallahassee) from a run to Anchorage and back.I would add that its wise to stop at the visitors center in Whitehorse on the Alaska Hiway to get the latest update on road conditons ahead on the way up. The last hundred miles or so in Canada to the AK border a few weeks ago was pretty rough and required very low speeds. We just didn't have the energy and umph to knock out more than 350 a day max mileage once on the Alcan-- and we peddled steadily. Our favorite stop for camping was Toad River.We did it in a TC
