Alaska: via BC & Yukon, or Alberta, BC & Yukon?

Curious, given the choice of driving to Alaska via British Columbia and Yukon, or driving through Alberta, BC, then Yukon, which would you prefer? Obviously the latter portion of the drive through BC...

Don't recall exactly where but this is along the Alaskan Highway in BC somewhere.



It is nothing compared to some of the passes of the Rockies but for a flatlander it is pretty high ground.
