do NOT stay at the Ice Worm RV Park in Wasilla. In all our years of camping, this is the first campground where I slept (tried to sleep) with a weapon beside the bed. Was grateful we had an alert guardian dog.
It is pretty much a place with full-timers. Lots of odd people coming and going, handing money over and walking away with packages. Numerous guns visible. That's the short version of the story.
