Alaskan Weather

It's been almost non stop rain and looks like it's going to continue for at least another two weeks per weather forecasting. All this rain has caused little to no fishing since the rivers and creeks are all muddied up.

I was wandering for those already in Alaska (RVers) what is like where your at. Today we're moving on to Denali NP hoping to see some wildlife, non seen so far since entering Alaska and I'm not counting drunken people.

We're in Fairbanks now.
  • Send some down to BC please... we like most of the western USA and Canada could sure use it....
    Soup
  • This is our 4th summer in Alaska and I have to say this has been the wettest one yet. The good thing is it usually doesn't rain all that hard so with a rain jacket and a good hat we can continue exploring the sights and sites!

Good luck with your animal spotting in Denali. We had a fantastic week at Tek in July seeing all the "Big 5" plus the mountain was out several days. The cool wet days will bring more activity from the animals which should increase your sightings!

Enjoy it while you can and remember at least it is not 100+ here in Alaska!
