Alcan Highway
It has been about 10 years since we have traveled the Alcan. Anyone that drove it this summer, is it still basically a mess? Ten years ago it was a nightmare with road work etc. How is it now?

Did the trip this summer, for the third time since 2008. Generally the roads were the best ever. For the most part far better than found in the lower 48, especially the Northeast or anywhere near major cities.
As always, driving at the appropriate speed for the road conditions is the key. People on very tight schedules racing along at speeds way above what is suitable for the road are the ones most likely to get into trouble breaking things.
