ALCAN Highway
It has been about 10 years since we have traveled the Alcan. Anyone that drove it this summer, is it still basically a mess? Ten years ago it was a nightmare with road work etc. How is it now?

Very true, all roads and highways in Alaska are referred to by a name not a number. I've lived here over 20 years and couldn't tell you the road numbers. Intersections have arrows and town names, not road numbers. Roads on the Alcan/Alaska Highway are also referred to by name or intersection name.
