The Alcan no longer exists. It is the Alaska Highway. Can 1, Can 97, and Can 37. Highway this year was in good shape with some construction near Burwash. Of course that will be done and a new section will be worked on.
Good quality tires nothing fancy. Yes, if you have a flat replacements are available in larger cities on the highway. Road service is another question. Trailer tires (ST) need to be kept an eye on.
