Algonquin Provincial Park

We go there every year but due to my limited mobility we don't do any hiking. We have stayed in the CGs and also driven straight through to Pembroke and Petawawa. We have seen as much wildlife there as in the park. Petawawa has the CFB and many square miles of closed area for their military training. The wildlife like that as well. The entire area is great scenery. The Ottawa Valley is a terrific spot to visit. We saw a sow & 2 cubs walking down the road in Petawawa, in town. One of my cousins even had a bear break into his garage. We had bear burgers that summer.
