Amirillo to Denver via 87-25?
Heading out 4/15 to the Grand Tetons. Yes we are watching any weather issues. Comments on using 87-25 or going for the 287-70 route? Thank you. Nancy (40' Motor home and tow)

Or....you could follow the advice about going up to Limon and then getting on CO 71 BUT no need to get off on US 34. Stay on CO 71, it continues north into Nebraska where it is still 71, and intersects with I-80. Avoids Denver AND all the smells of the feed lots outside of Greeley, and minimal traffic as well.

We are going to use both your suggestions. Watching weather, but we plan to leave Texas on Sunday and head towards Grand Teton.
Stopping at campgrounds on the way up and arriving on Friday if all goes well.
