Start really early in the morning, before the winds start to pick up.
Most of the time, the winds get faster in the afternoon, and die down around midnight.
I would be checking the wind forecast in Quartzsite and along the river, and check to see how bad it is. You might just have to leave the RV at home, and hotel it. .
