alces lake campground is a small campground better suited to smaller rigs,so you should be ok.keep in mind it gets very busy there in the summer.its not all that scenic there either, if your talking about the alces in whiteswan. if you really want a nice scenic lake try the forest service site at white tail lake.its about the same distance,but way nicer.it even has a small stream running behind the main camp.
