Stop at the hot springs on the access road to Whiteswan.
When I stayed in the park several years ago, the furthest lakeside campground was nearly full. Seemed to be particularly popular with Albertans who spent the day fishing (while the SO stayed in the trailer knitting? :) ).
Get the Backroads Mapbook for the area, especially if you want to explore anything besides the main access road.
