If you're going to drive the car by itself on the turnpike you would need another sticker. Don't attach that sticker to the windshield. If you do then you'll be charged twice when towing the car. Remove the sticker from the car when towing and stash it away, wrapped in aluminum foil wouldn't hurt.
The Sunpass website says stickers cannot be handheld and have to be permanently mounted in order to work. Then if removed they no longer work.
We got the portable suction cup model to be able to move it to any vehicle we're using as long as we register the new/alternate vehicle online in our account. That has proven useful many times, but we go to Florida often.
Under "towing", it indicates they calculate the number of axles and charge accordingly.
True, that's what they say. Tape it to the windshield or whatever. If you stick it on it can't be removed without destroying it. If you have 1 in the MH and 1 in the toad you can be overcharged. Only other option is the portable one. Of course if you're not cruising the turnpike in your car it's a non-issue. We have one in the MH but none in the car. We only need the turnpike to get to our destination.
