Anyone going from MN to Los Algodones?
I live in MN. I would like to go to Mexico for dental work. I was wondering if by any chance anyone else is going from MN to Yuma, AZ and could offer a ride? Thank you.

A friend had to have some kind of heart surgery while in Mexico - did not go specifically to have it done - happened to need it while there - doc said he wouldn't make it home - so went to Guadalajara (was near) and had it done for $10,000 US and got all paperwork - returned to US and took papers to Kaiser I think it was - they said it would have cost $120,000 in the US so they paid the $10k - no problem. This should not be considered as advice and I nothing more about it than that. I think there are world class docs in Guad. Don't know. Friend said he felt better than he had in years.
It is my understanding - never investigated - that San Miguel de Allende has become sort of a destination for elective surgery (plastic) but I do not know anything about it.
