AR to Waco. Campgroud or RV suggestions?
We are traveling to Waco today thru Paris Tx, Greenville, trying to avoid the Dallas traffic. may need to stop 4 night b4 actually getting into Waco. suggestions where to stay on that route? or in W...

The I-30 to I-635 to I-20 to I-35 loop around Dallas is okay, if you avoid the rush hours.
To totally avoid Dallas - Take TX-19 from Paris thru Sulphur Springs and Canton to Athens - the west on TX-31 to Waco. Many nice places to stop for the night near Canton.
Near Dallas is harder to find. The old KOA at Caddo Mills near Greenville is about the only mid-way stop. On the south side - not much until Hillsboro, and you're very close to Waco by then.
