Are we too long to enter Canada?

Sure...we are towing with a 2015 Ford Dually F350 SuperDuty Crew Cab diesel...pulling a 43.5 foot (12.954 m) 2016 Toy Hauler. So, all equipment is nearly new, no damage, good tires all around, etc. Are we overweight? I don't think so, but we have not weighed ourselves and we are full-timers, so we have more "stuff" than the average weekend warrior, but can't think that will be obvious. We do have two kayaks on the roof of the truck...we could put those in the garage if these would attract unwanted attention.

Thanks to all who replied. We just got off the phone wth RCMP (BC) office. We should be fine. We are under combined length (20m) and also under trailer length for BC (14m) but over trailer length for Yukon (12.5m), but still under combined length (25). We also spoke to Canada (and US) border services. Border service MUST be pretty stress free as in ALL cases, those were some very pleasant and actually HELPFUL government employees. Being a former civil serpent, I feel it is ok to say that my usual experiences when dealing with government employees is that they seem to take delight in making your life miserable. Well, these then were the exceptions. My first exposure to Canadian government was very pleasant...sure hoping for that to continue. I am no longer fearing my border crossings, so, thank you Canada....Eh!

You should feel comfortable, after all we're just unarmed Americans on medicare, LOL.

We have just entered Yukon Territory (YT) and overnighted at Watson Lake. We will be posting a sign at the Watson Lake signpost forest (look it up if you don't know what that means). Coming into Canada was anti-climatic. They didn't want to look at anything but our passports...I could have kept my Washington cherries, but instead, tossed them into a can just before passing into Canada. How GORGEOUS is BC!!!! And the roads are generally VERY good (knock on wood). Hwy 37 had its moments, but overall, better than I expected. Thanks to all for the help, but it appears we should have no issues (other than diesel that is way more expensive than it should be...I thought Canada had lots of oil...)
