getting ready to make our semi annual trip north and keep reading about boycotts and strikes against us people and products,just wondering if this advisable time to visit or not.

You're always welcome up here. Lots of room, plenty of food and fuel, although some of our hotels and college dorms are full of confused asylum seekers now. :h
We must apologize for any inconvenience our current government has caused you by responding in kind to the trade/tariff stuff, or miscommunication caused by any unverified news that our government owned state media has produced supporting it/them. We'll correct the first problem next year in the federal election, and hope that the new guys will fix the second problem. :W
