getting ready to make our semi annual trip north and keep reading about boycotts and strikes against us people and products,just wondering if this advisable time to visit or not.

Had a laugh yesterday, attended a BBQ where the host had bought French's ketchup (made with Canadian tomatoes) to replace the Heinz ketchup, Heinz had shut down the Ontario facility that made it and now produces it in the USA.
She asked if someone could take it home because it was so runny compared to Heinz and she was going to pour it down the sink!
So much for boycotting US products!
