Best route to avoid Phoenix going west? I-8 to I-10 pulling 40 ft fifth wheel on Hwy 85 going north of Gila Bend? Ideas please!

- I'd rather eat linoleum than drive through Phoenix. Definitely take 85 getting off of I-8 at Gila Bend. It is a decent 4 lane that runs about 30 miles north to I-10. No problems for your rig.
