X2 going straight through. The bypasses are insane-some seriously dangerous drivers on the Atlanta bypasses. And yes, don't be there anywhere near the rush hours.
I once planned to bypass Atlanta by way of two lane roads, (not the interstate bypasses) but missed my turn. Ended up going straight through, and it took about a half hour more than it takes to use the interstate bypasses, but it was so much less stressful. The traffic was thick but moved along nicely at about 35-40. Too much traffic for the idiots to create too much of a problem. I always just go straight through now.
