Aurora activity high -- and not much moon!

It seems like whenever the aurora is forecast, mother nature pulls the clouds over our heads. Cold midwestern winters gave us some awesome light shows.

Generic fall mid-level overcast (between 8,000 - 12,000) up here in the Los Anchorage area right now but with winds from the NW & NE, maybe something will clear up for this evening...
