Baker, ca to I-40 en route to needles, ca

I need to travel from Baker, Ca to I-40 and eventually get to Needles,Ca so is Kelbaker road a decent road for a motor home and toad? Thanks
  • Looks fine to me. Have you ever used Google Maps to look at a road? Street View?
You also might get a copy of Motor Carrier's Atlas - if it's OK for an 18 wheeler it's ok for us Rv'ers.
  • I took that route 7 years ago and as I remember it was rough and narrow in a few places. No problem just drove slower and no traffic so you can use either side of the road ;) Hopefully it's been repaved since then...
  • Its fine, we did it with our 38' class A towing a Tahoe, no problem. If you have time, check out the old train depot at Kelso. There is RV parking.
